Privacy Notice

This notice explains how information presented through the Joint Asset Portfolio portal is treated and provides information about the types of records and information displayed through the portal.

1. Purpose of this portal

The U.S DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY Joint Asset Portfolio portal provides an interface for presenting participant information, portfolio information, asset balances, processing stages, transaction records, and beneficiary instructions within an organized portfolio environment.

2. Information presented on the portal

The portal may display information associated with the portfolio record, including:

  • Participant names and profile information.
  • Participant reference identifiers.
  • Masked identification information where displayed.
  • Portfolio status information.
  • The joint asset balance.
  • Asset tracking and processing stages.
  • SWIFT-style transaction-record fields.
  • Beneficiary and portfolio instructions.

Information displayed within these areas is provided as part of the portfolio record presented through the portal.

3. Participant information

The Participants area presents information relating to the parties associated with the portfolio record.

Reference identifiers and other identifying fields may be partially masked or otherwise protected where displayed. Visitors should not interpret displayed information as independent verification of an individual's identity or account status.

4. Portfolio and balance information

The Joint Asset Balance area presents a portfolio amount and associated currency information.

5. Asset tracking information

The Asset Tracking History presents a ten-stage sequence covering portfolio processing, review stages, transaction-record presentation, beneficiary verification, and subsequent portfolio processing.

Status labels such as completed, current stage, pending, and future stage describe the status represented within the portal.

6. SWIFT-style transaction record

The portal includes a SWIFT-style record showing how structured international payment information may be presented within an interface.

Any account numbers, routing information, institution codes, addresses, references, or other transaction fields presented within the record should be handled as sensitive financial information.

7. Beneficiary instructions

The Instructions area provides information concerning beneficiary asset contributions and portfolio-processing procedures.

The information contained in that area should not be interpreted as an authorization to send money, transfer assets, provide banking credentials, or satisfy a financial obligation without independent verification through appropriate authorized channels.

8. Information submitted by visitors

The portal is not designed to collect passwords, online-banking credentials, authentication codes, payment-card information, private keys, or other sensitive financial credentials.

9. Information sharing and disclosure

Information presented through the portal may reference financial institutions, government agencies, investment companies, custodians, payment systems, regulatory bodies, or other organizations.

10. Security and responsible use

The portal is intended to provide organized access to portfolio and related information.

Users should protect information displayed through the portal and should avoid entering confidential information into areas that are not specifically designated for secure collection.
